The Air District’s Clean Air Filtration Program helps vulnerable communities that are adversely affected by wildfire smoke and poor air quality obtain high efficiency air filtration units to reduce health impacts and exposure from fine particles in the air. Donations will fund the purchase of home air cleaners for vulnerable populations and aim to improve wildfire preparedness and health equity across the Bay Area. All proceeds will be allocated to projects identified by the Foundation's Board of Directors.
The Bay Area Clean Air Foundation’s Offsite Mitigation Program is designed to assist lead agencies in addressing air pollution impacts identified through the CEQA process that cannot be fully mitigated with on-site measures. The program, offered on a case-by-case basis, can provide air pollutant emission reductions through the funding and completion of beneficial incentive projects in the San Francisco Bay Area Air Basin.
The Air District's Zero-Emission Grant Equipment Program awarded funding to help owners and operators pay for a portion of the costs of purchasing and deploying new on- and off-road zero-emission vehicles, infrastructure, or other mobile or stationary equipment that will be operated and installed within West Oakland and the surrounding eligible areas.
