About Us

The Bay Area Clean Air Foundation was established in 2008 to provide financial, administrative and programmatic support to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. With a focus on equity, the Foundation supports the Air District in its mission to protect and improve public health, air quality, and the global climate. Since its creation, the Foundation has funded projects to help the most vulnerable communities in the Bay Area. This has included funding zero-emission vehicles and infrastructure, as well as home air cleaners for highly impacted populations. To learn more about Foundation support projects, see our homepage.
